There use to be a time where I would log onto my computer, connect to the Internet and write a lengthy post about what was on my mind. Oh, we never called it blogging or a “blog”, it was more of a mindless collection of rants tied together by a common theme. This was before “blogging” was as common as it is today, this was when the minority of people had the Internet, the days of 14.4 connections, constant disconnects, Prodigy, and CompuServe. Not to long before that, the whole Internet to me was simple e-mail, chat rooms, and message boards.
Speed ahead 15 years and that brings you to roughly today. The Internet is everywhere. Digital real estate is filling up and it’s getting tougher and tougher for the masses to compete for placement on the SERPs (search engine result page.) Google, Bing, Yahoo, AOL, Ask, they’ve all done a great job at assisting us in finding our favorite websites time after time, but sometimes they work against us. For webmasters, these website listings can be frustrating and extremely difficult to overcome, especially with all of the malicious blackhat SEOs pushing your quality website deeper into the results.
This is where I come in. I am a Web Developer with experience in search engine optimization and social media. I can help shine a light on your website to help guide targeted visitors to your pages.
I hope in this blog to bring up debatable topics involving the Internet Culture, SEO tactics, video games, and pretty much anything else I can throw out there.
